Transcendental Consciousness Newsletter August 2008 Welcome to our first Transcendental Consciousness newsletter. In this issue we will inform you about developments that have taken place with regard to the Transcendental Consciousness website. Shopping website One of the greatest developments in the past few months is our new shopping website. We decided to launch this website to generate income whilst at the same time supporting world peace projects. TranscendentalConsciousness.com is managed by Dravina Ltd, which will donate 50% of the net-profit from this to projects to create a better world. How will you know when and how much we donate? We will keep all our subscribers informed about donations by means of this newsletter. After each trading year we'll send you a detailed report about income and expenses and donations made in that year. We don't want to wait for a whole year before we donate. We want to start donating as soon as possible. So, once we receive a reasonable amount of income, we will make our first donations. How you can help The success greatly depends on whether we get more visitors and newsletter subscribers. If you have a website or a blog, or a page on a social website, like Digg, MySpace, Furl, Spurl, Technorati, Yahoo, del.icio etc., then you could write something about our website. Don't forget to include our link, or a banner. Or, you can just put a link to us, or tell your friends about Transcendental Consciousness. You can also bookmark our website by pressing Ctrl + D, so that you can come back easier. Increased visitors We are happy to announce that there is a great increase in visitors to our website each month. The number of visitors in the previous 4 months is: April 2008: 716, May:1052, June:1449, July:1745 We genuinely hope that this increase will continue in the coming months. Therefore your participation would be greatly appreciated. Quote from the Bhagavad Gita We would like to conclude this newsletter with a verse from the Bhagavad Gita, showing the never-changing and immortal nature of Transcendental Consciousness: Weapons cannot cleave it, nor fire burn it; This verse explains that the Self, being transcendental, remains untouched by anything in the always changing field of creation. If we could fully enliven this silent and unbounded field of pure consciousness within ourselves, we would live supreme quality of life. Visit the Transcendental Consciousness Shopping Page |
