Maharishi Sthapatya Veda

We are constantly affected by our environment. Some influences, like the weather, are directly noticeable. Others, such as electro-magnetic fields operate on a more unseen level.

We know that we are influenced by our friends and family and also by the media and our culture.

We are also influenced by the house we live in. This phenomenon may be quite unnoticeable, but according to the ancient knowledge of Sthapatya Veda, the effects are definitely taking place.

Entrance of the house facing East

According to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda there will be a very life-supporting influence, if the entrance of a house is facing due East or due North.

If we look around us, then we see houses, towns and cities all randomly directed. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda tells us that this is the cause of many problems, failures and diseases in the world, because only two out of eight directions are good. They are: North and East.

Different qualities of energy

The strongest influence of Natural Law on earth comes from the Sun. The Sun rises in the East and on its path towards the West, different qualities of energy become lively.

Maharishi Sthapatya Veda designs the house in such a way, that its entrance and the placement of every room is there where the appropriate quality of nature's intelligence is most lively.

For instance, the study-room should be placed there, where the quality of nature's intelligence for studying, the intellect, is most lively. If the study-room is placed there where the bedroom should be, then our intellect will not be as clear as is desirable during our study.

Three main factors

There are three main factors which are considered when a Maharishi Sthapatya Veda house or office is built. They are: proper orientation, proper placement of rooms, and proper proportion.

If these factors are taken care of, then according to Sthapatya Veda, those living in such a building will enjoy good health, prosperity, harmony in the family, success and fulfillment in life.

Several thousands of families are already living in houses built according to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda. Many of them report positive changes in their lives since they moved from their old home into the new (Sthapatya Vedic) one.

More clear thinking and more creativity

Those who live in Maharishi Sthapatya Veda houses find that they think more clearly and are more creative. They feel happier, make better decisions, they feel more alert and enjoy better health.

Sthapatya Veda is one of the 40 aspects of the Veda, which deals with the establishing quality of Natural Law. Natural Law is the infinite organizing power present in self-referral consciousness.

In this way the house helps in becoming a means to our full development, which is life in unity consciousness, life in bliss and fulfillment.
