The Unified Field and the Veda

Last century a new concept dawned in the scientific world. It is the theory of Quantum Physics. This theory changed the vision of scientists and declared that the universe is based upon four fundamental forces and matter fields.

Einstein believed that these four fields were actually different expressions of one field. It is now been discovered by quantum physicists that this one underlying field is in fact the Unified Field of Natural Law.

The Veda

The Veda also tells us that at the basis of all creation is the Unified Field. This is the Unified Field of consciousness, a field of pure intelligence which is total knowledge.

When this Unified Field of consciousness becomes conscious of itself, then creation occurs.

Modern Science and Maharishi's Vedic Science

Modern physics sees everything in terms of matter. It excludes subjectivity, which is consciousness. According to modern physics the Unifed Field is a silent, self-interacting source of all physical forms and phenomena.

Maharishi's Vedic Science tells us that the Unified Field, discovered by modern physics, is the same as the Unified Field of knower, knowing and known, which is the field of consciousness as explained to us in the Veda.

This Unified field can be directly experienced by anyone on the level of his own self-referral consciousness. This can be effectively done through the practical aspect of Maharishi's Vedic Science, which is the Transcendental Meditation technique.

The students of Maharishi's Vedic Science experience directly what physicists only know in theory as the Unified Field. Maharishi's Vedic Science gives both intellectual knowledge and direct experience of the Unified Field.

Therefore Maharishi's Vedic Science is the fulfillment of modern science. It gives the scientist the experience of the self-referral state of consciousness. It doesn't leave him in the field of objective means of gaining knowledge.

In conclusion, we can say that the Unified Field is not just a theoretical concept, but can be directly experienced by anyone on the level of his self-referral consciousness.

In this age the two extremes, both objective modern science and ancient Vedic Science meet through the enlivenment of the Unified Field, the state of Yoga, or Transcendental Consciousness.
